Glam Polish – Gentlemen Prefer Blondes – photos, swatches, review

Hi folks!

In Germany we had some sun this weekend, so I decided to go holo for this posting!

Today I’m showing you Glam Polish Gentlemen Prefer Blondes from the Love Marilyn Collection that came out this year. When I ordered this polish I was actually looking for the perfect nude holo for me. CbL Fire Down Below wasn’t it, but this pretty baby here is amazing and I’m so glad I picked it up!

Gentlemen prefer blondes is a rosy peachy nude with a very strong holo effect but also with glassflecks! And since the base colour has a metallic finish this polish also looks bling bling without direct sunlight. I love that!

Application was great, two easy coats was all I needed. The pictures below show two coats plus HK girl fast drying top coat. The wear was excellent, I had no problems with chipping or tip wear for 3 days. Removal was also easy. Very happy with this one!

I bought this polish from Harlow & Co but they don’t have it in stock right now :(. It seems to be available from Mei Mei’s Signatures though!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice sunday!

    • Oh this one is super easy to remove, even though it looks like lots of glitter. I use a remover with aceton, a cheap drugstore one (ebelin). If you’re having a hard time removing glitter, try the tinfoil method: soak small pieces of cotton balls with remover, place them on each nail and wrap every finger up in tin foil. After a few minutes, the glitter should come off in one wipe!
