Essence “Midnight date” + “City that never sleeps”

Hey beauties!

As requested, I will continue showing you another one of the new colour³ nail polishes. This time the top coat is a very beautiful flakie nail polish – it looks amazing in the bottle and I must really say: Thank you Essence for producing a nail polish so uncommon for drugstore brands.

The base colour is a nice and deep blue colour with very fine shimmer. In the bottle it has a slight duochrome effect shimmering purple but this is not visible on the nails. This blue is almost a one coater! I only used one coat for the pictures.

The “top coat” as I said is a very beautiful and unique blue base with green microshimmer and green flakies. I used one coat on top of the base colour for the pictures. I noticed that the flakies didn’t “sink in” which I really like, the application of both colours was nice and easy. Even though, like I said before, you might need a little time to get used with the two-sided bottles and the heavy brush experience.

Now to the pictures! Sorry for the spam but as you might know, flakies look soo different in different lighting!
